Ok.If Goku was cast illusions by Itachi,still no use.If you watch Dragon Ball,you will find out that General Tao has killed General Blue with his tongue.General Blue could used mind tricks on him,but Mind trick wouldn't work with him.
If General Tao (who is much more weaker than Goku) has a resistance to Telepathic attack or mind tricks,Goku mind would have been much more powerful than his,thus illusions won't work with Goku.

@No use.Gotenks at SSJ3,which is quite equal to Goku's SSJ3,break through dimensional portals with his scream.Goku can do the same thing with Kakashi's dimensional portal.And don't forget that Goku could just use Instantaneous Transmission to get out of the dimension that Kakashi created.Still,No use.

umm goku could destroy planet he's living on not even trying. same with broly. lol itachi's eye thing is placed on pain on their reality. A sword or anything else couldnt even come close to piercing his skin even in head hes trainned in far worse things. Besides his biggest skill is endurance, facing toughest guy in universe and never giving up, from naruto he has chakura which does has limits.

Hmmm brute strength vs brains. Even if Itachi could see it coming, he has nowhere to run. He can't Sharingan his way out of Goku going Ape on him. Can't Instant Transmission, can't do a Kamehameha wave...

Goku blocked Trunks' sword with one *finger*! Back when he could only go SSJ1. Even if Itachi did Tsukiyomi him, where Goku would be defenseless, the worst Itachi could do would be tickle him.
i would say itachi would, but i think goku would make the fight very interesting, like not something either of them would do as if it was a breeze, it would be an important fight
nevermind all of that..goku could just make the continent they're fight on go boom....I think that would seal the deal.
