Is Godchild (manga) worth buying??!
Question: i JUST read the last volume of The Caine Saga last night and i really really loved the series. However, im annoyed by the fact she put off cane saga for angel sanctuary(which i will someday start reading because kaori yuki is an amazing artist!).
So what i want to know is, is God Child fufilling?
did the last volume end with a sense of closure??
even if it doesnt, is the story line still good (or as good) as it's pretecessor The Caine Saga??
im trying to cut down on my manga purchasing (it's gotten a wee bit out of hand lately) so let me know if it's worth dedicating $80 to buying all 8...
please, no spoilers.

I read both [The Cain Saga] and [God Child] before they came out in America, under their original names. As another Kaori Yuki fan, I have enjoyed it. I believe it's worth buying, just like her other books are.
Someday, if I ever find it, I'll also get [Kaine]. I think every KY manga is worth buying; her stories are dark and twisted in a very unique way. Sometimes she makes you squirm at the out-of-norm events and situations she puts into her stories (I think it's trademark for her, though, to put in incest, even if just between cousins).
(Also, just to note, in addition to tax, you'd be spending more than $80; it'd be closer to $90.)
To give the simplest answer possible...Yes, but not as fulfilling as I hoped it would be. Oh, and don't take my opinion of the ending to heart. I'm a very anal critic.
I would say it definately is worth buying. I absolutely loved The cain saga and Godchild is just as good. It's really entertaining.
