That would be Kraven. I really hated Kraven. He was such a wuss. Spiderman rules! I even like the movies.
yeah his name was Kaven the hunter and he was not really a lion tamer he was a sort of like a explorer/peta guy . cant really remember but just type his name in and u should find tons of pics he was turned into kaven when his wife a animal researcher was playing around with animal dna and needed a test subject ,she didnt want him to do it but yeah he injected the animal dna in him and soon became Kaven the hunter he can talk to animals much like tarzan .
Kraven the Hunter is your answer, but he was not a lion tamer. He was actually a master hunter who had done it all and thought the next step was capturing Spidey, the "animal" at the top of his hunting food chain. Eventually Kraven did capture, drug and bury Spidey in a grave - then went around impersonating him for a while. When Spidey got out and eventually confronted him, Kraven comitted suicide believing that he had accomplished everything in his life.
In the Ultimate Comics, Kraven was actually a Steve Irwin like character with a reality show. He was embarassed by Ultimate Spidey eventually.
