Well to start Choji never dies to being with,what happens his he takes the red pill which will endure,death and which also increased his chakra,after using to much chakra in punch to finish off Jirobo,but is seriously injured and the pill takes effect. Later the medical team finds him an bring him back to the village and heals him.
Okay now back to your question it is episode 114:
114 Goodbye Old Friend...! I'll Always Believe in You!:
After eating the Curry pill it seems as if Choji will win the battle, but Jirobo changes all this by unleashing his Cursed Seal Level 2. Now the tide has turned and it looks like it is the end of the line for Choji. Now he has only one option, take the red pill, which will ensure his death.
