Know This anime movie?!
Question: Pretty old, maybe 80s or 90s.
In the forest, there was this sludge monster that had a little kid inside and all these people were trying really hard to get the kid out. They finally did, but it was because some weird deer-like animal(which was like, the guardian of the forest) helped. And that dear was on a cliff when these evil people shot an arrow and beheaded the deer.
So a whole bunch of acid-like liquid poured out of the body of the deer animal and it kept pouring and pouring and wouldn't stop. So the people ran away to the river on a boat so they wouldn't get killed. Meanwhile, this boy took the head of the deer and tried putting it back onto the body of the deer so that the acid would stop coming out. And he eventually did it.
Can anyone help? That's as specific as i can remember. Also, I'm not sure my description was the middle or ending, I just walked in on a couple of guys watching it.

yup but the thing is that the animal gods who lived in the forest started being evil beacause humans killed them and there forests so they became demons and the great spirit of the forest is the one thats beheaded

I believe it's Mononoke Hime (or Princess Mononoke in english), a film by Hayao Miyazaki
I think it's the ending you're describing here.
It's called Princess Mononoke. It's a great movie. There's several movies by the same person that are just as great.
