Does anyone know if they are making a remake of wonder woman?!
Question: Well there has been a Wonder Women movie project in development hell for sometime now. IMDB has Joss Whedon (Buffy, Ange, Firefly) down as writer/director, but last I heard he has signed off the project because the studio wouldn't let him do his vision for the film. The last script I heard the studio had optioned was set during WWII
There is also a Justice League of America film that has been written and due to be directed by George Miller (Mad Max). The casting of the Wonder Women role in that film was a Australian model called Megan Gale.
The JLA film is on hold until after the writers strike as they wanted to make some changes to the script. As for the stand alone Wonder Women film... I've no idea.

Yes but it has been put on hold for the time being. The young lass who played stephanie in Eastenders (Kats daughter) is to play the lead role.
According to IMDB the production is on hold (not sure why) It doesnt say who is playing wonderwoman. The girl who played Kats daughter in Enders is now in the Bionic Woman (although with her looks she would make a great wonderwoman)
Yepper... I hear the same thing. The WW movie is on "hold" and maybe dead for now... but if the superhero movies keep making tons of money, they will do it out of greed if nothing else. The JLA movie and about everything else under the sun is blocked by the writer's strike.
So the question really is not if it will be done... but if it will be done well. I just really, really hope that it does not end up like Catwoman did.
