Naruto's parents?!


Question: If Naruto's father is Namikaze Minato and his mother is Uzumaki Kushina, does that mean in japanese the child takes the mother's last name?

No. I would assume that Minato made Naruto take his mother's name in order to protect his identity. Remember, no one in the village knows that the Fourth Hokage is Naruto's father. Having that sort of information revealed would probably put Naruto in even more danger.

I have a suspicion that she was not married to the Namikaze Kushina and her relationship with him was forbidden by the village she came from and/or her Family.

...maybe they werent married in paper. so naruto took his mother's name instead of his father's. i dont know.. it's just my opinion.

NO. the child takes the fathers last name ONLY if the parents are married.

Naruto's parents were not married when he was born. thats why he gained his mothers last name.
