spongebob is very young, he looks it too, but i would say that he is around 18, 19, or 20 but he acts like a kid, kinda like PEWEE HERMAN, but most people take him as a kid, even on the show, but to how old he looks, i would say my age which is 14. i just found out that squidward is in his 30's too and patrick is most likely the same age as spongebob, mr krabs is 45 and pearl is 16, plankton is older than mr krabs, he is 48, if u need more info on cartoon characters ask me, i am the cartoon kid if u want to know
