Favorite Comic Book Archer?!
Question: Basically, I'm asking you to choose between Hawkeye and Green Arrow, but other characters could by in the running (like the original archer hero, The Arrow, or Quality's 'Alias the Spider, or even Marvel's Black Archer).

The best would be green arrow for a few simple reasons
1. He is more than just a super hero he is an idealist who actually worries more about the common man than just fighting for "justice", he fights for everyone and he actually cares for the well being of every citizen,while hawkeye is busy with the avengers or the ultimates doing his thing
2. the costume with the hoodie is simply bad *** other archers have got nothing on that one
3. Oliver Queen has shown that he is a hero with or without the mask,as green arrow he has fought alongside the best and held his own pretty well, and as the mayor of his city (can't remember the name)he has worked to make sure that everyone receives fair treatment....if real life politicians could be like him the world would be a better place
4. Any super hero that manages to date black canary is worthy of mention lol.
5 He is DC"s most famous archer and probably the best in the DC universe,his skills with the bow and arrow are nothing short of amazing read his comics and you will see why
6. He is actually a lot smarter than hawkeye,in his comics he relies a lot more on his wit than his weapons and a lot of times he has gone against villains that were clearly stronger than he was and still managed to to win.
in the end i think that green arrow is better because of his personality more than anything else, all the archers you mentioned have amazing skills but not many of them have character,green arrow is more than your average super hero,he is a man willing to fight for what he believes in and ready to lay his life down to make sure that everyone receives justice he is the super hero that actually worries about the underprivileged and the poor, the defenseless and the weak and strives to make this world better with or with out his bow and arrows.
Robin Hood- Nobody was better with a bow then Robin.
Plus he was a good guy. Stole from the rich and gave to the needy.
Hawkeye. He hung out with the Superfriends. Can't beat having Superman as you buddy.

1. No actual super power, just really effing kickA$$
2. Wears purple and makes it look cool
3. Sleeps with the Scarlet Witch, nuff said.
4. Not afraid of Cap or Iron man and will confront them if need be
5. Green Arrow is stupid and DC bites
6. Has died several times.
