Question: Hey - I just wanted to ask if anyone can explain to me what had happened since I can't watch all 43 episodes - so I just wanted to ask what is happening.

About episodes 1-43, Naruto Shippuuden; if you didn't get that.
it all starts out when naruto comes back. While he is back tsunade wants to test their skills against kakashi. When i mean their, i mean naruto and sakura. How? They do a bell exercise except this time kakashi uses sharingan. Naruto and sakura figured ou his weakness from all his make out series.
After that they are assigned to go to the land of sand to help get garaa back Sakura has to help get the poison out of Konkuro and succeds. Naruto, Kakashi,Sakura, and Chiyo( An old women who helps them) runs into Team Guy. So they all go to they akatsuki gate to get garaa. The two teams seperate. While team kakashi faces Itachi and team guy faces kisame. Naruto beats Itachi with his new rasengan and guy beats kisame with his gates. But they two teams relize that they are akatsuki spys. They get to the gate, but they had to realease the seals on the gate. After they go in Garaa is laying on the ground dead and Deidra is sitting on him Along his side is Sasori. Sasori once came from the sand village and is Chiyo grandson. Now Sasori tells Deidra to go off with garaa while he took care of sakura and chiyo. Naruto and Kakashi starts to chase him to get garaa. While they are doing that Kakashi activates his own version of the mangekyou sharingan. This sharingan allows him to take any object and put it in another universe. So that's what he did with deidra arm. Sakura beats Sasori and naruto and kakashi catches up to deidra. Naruto goes wild and turns to the kyuubi with three tails. Kakashi uses this thing to calm naruto down. He was given this thing by jiraiya. Garaa is safe but dead. Chiyo uses a jutsu that could bring garaa back to life but she had to give up her life. She said that she didn't have enough charka and naruto gives her his chakra. Now garaa is safe.
Okay it is time for narutoto go back to they village. Naruto and Sakura get a new team leaer named Yamato and a new teammate named sai.naruto and sakura don't like sai because he calls them names and makes fun of sasuke. But secretly sai 's mission was to come asainant sasuke. So on the way they meet up with Orochimaru and Kabuto. Naruto keeps telling them to give sasuke back but they told him there is no giving back. Naruto gets really upset and goes berserk. And actully transformed into a mini nine tailed fox. But he actully has four tails. While this is happening Sai runs off to go kill sasuke. While naruto is transformed sakura tries to stop him but naruto hits her and knocks her out. Kabuto then realize that naruto and them is not the enemey but akatsuki is. So he descided to heal sakura. While sakura is up Yamato is doing a jutsu to turn naruto back to normal.

Naruto returns to village. Meets all old friends except Sasuke. Gaara kidnapped by Deidara and killed and had Shukaku taken out of him. Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, woman from Sand, Guy, Lee, Tenten, Neji went to Akatsuki hideout and fought Deidara and killed Sasori. Woman from sand (Chiyo) brought Gaara back to life. Naruto and Sakura have new team member, Sai, and new captain, Yamato. They try to capture Kabuto but end up fighting Orochimaru. Naruto grows four tails and kicks the crap out of Orochimaru.

all people are chonin but naruto is a genin and neji ,kankuro and temari are jonin as well as gaara be the kazekage and everybody else is stronger
mainly what the first guy said.
but here is what I thought of,
Shinpuddin mainly surrounded the attention to Akatsuki members and naruto/sasuke.
all rest of the ninjas become minor character.
so basically Naruto developed a new rasengan, while Garra got captured by akatsuki and got his 1 tail demon extracted out of his body.
then right after he got rescued by konoha ninjas, and in the process Sakura killed one of the Akatsuki members (sasori the puppet user)
As more of the akatsuki members got introduced, naruto starts to fight Orochimaru. In the process he transformed into 4 tail Demon fox and the fight currently drawed...
of course, as extras the manga version is like 1 year ahead of the anime's time. so don't read below if u don't want
manga SPOILER
In the manga the akatsuki fought with Knonha ninjas through out the whole story line------------------------------------...
----Naruto and Shino killed two more akatsuki members (with aid of course)
----Sasuke killed Orochimaru and freed many of Orochimaru's human experients to form his own team (team snake) (Orochimaru might not be died yet....)
right after he procedded to kill Deiarka (another member of akatsuki)
----After the death of three of akatsuki's member its revealed that the real leader is actually tobi(a masked face with a hole to uncover his eye). he called himself Mandara Uchiha
---Jairaya got killed after he find out the akatsuki hide out and went to fight their leader by himself (his ultimate form--three sage mode--)
---Naruto's father is the fourth hokage
---Currently itachi is fighting Sasuke and Sasuke finds out the real motif for Itachi killing his whole clan.
