What are good child ratings for anime/ mangas?!

Question: They can't have anything bad in them or magic. Especially witches.

Answers: They can't have anything bad in them or magic. Especially witches.

Uhm…
There’s the classic Doraemon. About a robot-cat from the future. And other Fujiko F. Fujio’s creations like Mojacko, Pman etc etc…
Chibi Maruko-chan about a little girl’s life.
Kobo-chan, about a little boy life.
Hamtaro, about some pet hamsters’ life.
UFO Baby, well the title explain it self.
Yakitate Ja-pan! About cooking (this one rather new than the fore mentions)
From sport there’s
Captain Tsubasa (soccer) and Prince of Tennis

That’s all I can remember….

You won't find many, I can't even think of any without magic or anything. Why is magic or witches bad? Sorry I can't help. You might want to try some cartoons or something.

Okay, there are no mangas/anime that doesn't have magic or negative things in them because anime/mangas are suppose to have some bit of reality in them in order to make people like them. But if you are looking for good anime/manga for kids, I could suggest some.

For a little girl, you might want to try the anime/manga "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch", which is based off the story of The Little Mermaid. It's perfectly suitable for kids, except they do transform into humans so that could be considered magic. For little boys...sorry, there are no anime/manga out there for little boys that doesn't have some action in them.

i dont know why your looking for any!? are they for little kids or something? if they are i'd stick to cartoons or something.
wateva, i really don't think you'll find many (or any) but you might want to check out +anima. there's a teeny bit of fighting and blood but it's pretty cool. the most approprait i've ever read.
it's a new series though so there aren't a lot of them yet...

OH I KNOW!=D
I suggest:

Chibi Maruko-Chan

Momoko Sakura is an elementary school student who likes popular idol Momoe Yamaguchi and mangas. She is often called "Chibi Maruko-chan" due to her young age and small size. She lives together with her parents, her grandparents and her elder sister in a little town. In school, she has many friends with whom she studies and plays together everyday, including her close pal, Tama-chan; the student committee members, Maruo-kun and Migiwa-san; and the B-class trio: 'little master' Hanawa-kun, Hamaji-Bu Taro and Sekiguchi-kun. This is a fun-loving and enjoyable anime that portrays the simple things in life.
-I watched it when I was younger its like about this little girl's everyday life
ex: One episode she lied and result was that people would find out and cause things worse which teaches her a lesson

My Neighbourhood Totoro

Two young girls, Mei and Satsuki, move into a new home that is close to the hospital that their mother is in. In their yard is an extremely large tree which is home to three Totoros, gods of the forest. Soon after, news from the hospital comes up that their mother can't come home as promised, so Mei (the younger daughter) runs away from home to visit her mom. Satsuki then needs to turn to Totoro for help in finding her sister.
-very popular anime among kids
-some fantasy, comedy, and adventure

I hope this helps=)

Sports:
Whistle!
Swan
Prince of Tennis
Forbidden Dance

Cooking:
Kitchen Princess
Yakitate! Japan

Music:
La Corda D'Oro (but it has a fairy in it :/)

Romance:
Kare Kano
Hana Yori Dango
Imadoki!Nowadays
W Juliet (theatrical)

Action:
Rurouni Kenshin (has fight scenes though)

It's quite dificult to find a action manga/anime (or other kind) without some sort magic/sci-fi/unreal powers

And you should probably read/watch them first to see if you think they're suitable...Just in case you don't approve

hope you find something

manga:
yotsubato (youtsuba&!)
*hikaru no go
*prince of tennis
beauty pop
*angelic layer
crimson hero
nine puzzle

anime:
kaleidostar-i think it has a hint of magic in it though, but it isn't the main focus of the story

ones that sound clean (and most likely are), but i haven't actually read/watched them:
whistle
eye shield 21
captain tsubasa
sugar princess

i noticed yakitate japan was mentioned a couple of times, and while it is only about baking bread, its rated OT (older teens) in the US, so i'd try to stay away from that one...

for more info. on any of these series go to animenewsnetwork.com

hope this helps. good luck!!
