Do you think Yu Yu Hakusho and Naruto Uzumaki are alike?!
Question: I been watching old episodes of the series "Yu Yu Hakusho:Ghost Detective" and was wondering something. Do you think Yusake was a template for Naruto? They act alike. They got a hot temper and even walk with their arms behind their head. Tell me what you think! Thanks

Hm, actually I don't think Yusuke was a template for Naruto, they really don't have that much in common apart from what is written above and a strong determination to achieve their goal...but that's a common trait for shonen protagonists.
I think Yusuke was more of a template for Kurosaki Ichigo from 'Bleach'...they have really a lot of similarities. First being: they both die in the first episode, because no matter what everyone sais, to gain Shinigami-powers Ichigo technichly had to die- i mean, he stabbed himself...anyway, more similarities: they are both delinquents, their ancestory is somewhat strange (demon-shinigami), they always make a weird and scary face, they are very caring about their friends(as far as dying for them), they both (by the way, i just noticed) die twice and resurrect because of some 'bad' powers...so, i think it's rather Ichigo than Naruto...
No there is absolutly no resemblance between them both as for the way they walk almost all anims i saw has characters walking that way
I can see some similarities but I couldn't say he was a template because a lot of animes have a hot tempered hero but its funny how yusake father was a demon king and then naruto has a demon in it

yes, kind of... however, recca hanabishi from flame of recca is more similar to naruto, than yusuke.
