Probably not. Both fields of work require an extensive amount of hard work, schooling, and time. I know for a fact that being an animator in particular can be strenuous, and often without much praise. You'd make more money being a doctor, though.
But hell, I'm not in it for the money :P I draw because it's my passion.
if you became a physician you probably wouldn't have the time to draw anyway, so realistically no.
