Request for constructive criticism?!

Question: I am thinking of starting a web comic strip. I have a long way to go before I am ready to post any strips, but I do have some preliminary sketches.

The art in a comic strip is what grabs a reader’s attention. The writing is what keeps them and makes them come back, but if the art does not grab your eye, you will not bother to read the strip.

With that in mind, please look over these three drawings and tell me if this style art and these characters would make you want to read the strip.

Any constructive feedback (even negative) is appreciated.

Your drawings look good, but on the second one I think the right foot is coming out too much. It doesn't quite look like he's going to take a step. Just pull the foot back a bit on the heal and it will be prefect. :) Nice work. :)

( from another artist ) :)

Drawings are good and the poker table one is fantastic! But whay type of audiance are you aming for? I say this because your drawings look more like what people in there late 20's would like.
