HinataI think is the best girl in the manga and in the anime. I think that she is the strongest one there and could easily take on anyone of them. Hinata has a better personalty in my opinion. Even though she is quite and shy whenever Naruto is around I still think that she is great. I really do think that Naruto and Hinata will get together because Hinata believes in him and he would protect her no matter what.

Anyway, if she even WAS the most popular female character, I would assume it would have been for the facts that she's a cute character, especially with all her excessive blushing and enormous crush on the wonderfully oblivious Naruto, and that she has a cool kekkei genkai that allows her to see through things and makes her eyes look unique. Well, not unique compared to other Hyuugas, but among the 'normal' ninja population, white eyes must be very unique. Yeah...that's really all I can think of, at the moment.
