the 2 part story "the last temptation of eddie brock" was published in the american series in sensational spider-man 38 and 39. this was after the initial back in black storyline kicks off. the next issue, 40, is entitled "the book of peter" where peter reflects on the amount of death and tragedy in his life. issue 41 is the last issue of the series, containing part 3 of one more day which reboots the spider-man storylines.
back in black's second part is in amazing spider-man 540 where he starts the hunt for aunt may's shooter.
