Question: I lurved Monkey when I was young - never really noticed it was dubbed either! Pigsy, Tripitaka ? what was the one with skulls round his neck called? Oh and the cool music......

His name was Sandy and he was a water monster/fish/canibal .
One of my favorite shows when I was little, along with the water margin.
I used to like it, I wasn't a kid, though! I was in my twenties. Mad show.
I am chinese and have grown up knowing the legend behind it very well. Yep, name was Sandy but the show was just "ok". If you are interested, please watch an anime (cartoon) called dragonball z and a masterpice comedy by Stephen Chow (shaolin soccer and Kung fu hustle) called "a chinese odyssey" - its a two parter film.
