What can be done to Comic Books to increase what they are worth?!

Yeah, it's CGC. Log in to wizarduniverse.com. On your left hand side is the link to CGC. There it will give you instructions, plus prices of their grading services. The comic book will be sealed in a CGC plastic slab to protect it from further damage. Hope this helps.
Keep them in mint condition and don't break the spine on them or curl the pages.

You can't increase the value of a comic book. Only a well kept comic book and time can.
What you need to make sure of is the following: don't fold the pages or ruin the spine when reading. Lay the books on the floor, table or on your bed when reading. If you hold it in your hands long enough the ink can rub off on your thumb and fingers. (I've had this happen). When you are done reading it place it in an acid free bag with a cardboard backing. These are purchased at any comic book store. Also, it is recommended to store these in a box made for comic books to ensure they are handled properly, but this is not absolutely necessary. The bagging of the books is more important.
You could increase the value of a comicbook by embedding it in a block of solid gold. Although, this isn't so much increasing the value of the comicbook as decreasing the value of the block of gold.
Destroy 99.99% of all copies of all issues of all comic books and make them rare commodities again.
