Anime similar to Bleach, Naruto, or Elfen lied?!
Question: I love Naruto, Bleach, Elfen lied. Not only for the action and the drama but also because the characters go through so many hardships. You can really relate to them. They endure loneliness and, in the case of Ichigo, Naruto, Gaara, and Lucy, they are misunderstood because of their powers/demons inside them.

Okay this took a while to type out. Anyways, they are in order so an anime that is VERY similiar to Elfen Lied is GANTZ -- and then so on. The same with the Naruto and Bleach list -- in order to similarity.

Holy ****! They made a frickin' ANIME out of Elfen Lied?! Omg! That is SICK! That manga is like, seriously perverted and gross1 I can't believe this?! Hey, where do you even watch that?
D. Greyman and Trigun are very similar to Naruto and Bleach, lots of action, funny, and the characters are all very unique.
Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are similar but are slanted towards an older audience (more blood, women, alcohol). They have less episodes than D. Greyman and Trigun though.

Very interesting. If you want to see a character that goes through a lot, you have to see Monster. It's about a doctor who goes against his boss' order to save a mayor. Instead, he decides to save a young boy who came in first. What he did not know, was that his entire career would be ruined because of this one "mistake".
I also suggest Seirei no Moribito. It follows the story of Balsa, who is assigned the task of guarding a prince whose life is in danger. A mysterious spirit that is inside him, which causes others to fear him. It's a great series in which this prince must learn how to live life outside of his palace in order to hide from those who pursue him.
My favorite anime is Mushishi. The series follows a special doctor who deals with these creatures called Mushi. He travels in order to help the people who have been affected by them. Each episode tells a different story, and you come to care about these people by the end of the episode, which is pretty hard considering they only appear for one episode. This is a fantasy/drama anime; there is no drama*. Mushishi has the highest quality of animation I have seen in an anime, along with a very good soundtrack. Definitely one of the better anime that is definitely underrated
