A humanoid robot is a robot with its overall appearance based on that of the human body. In general humanoid robots have a torso with a head, two arms and two legs, although some forms of humanoid robots may model only part of the body, for example, from the waist up. Some humanoid robots may also have a 'face', with 'eyes' and 'mouth'. Androids are humanoid robots built to resemble a male human, and Gynoids are humanoid robots built to resemble a human female.

2)Albert HUBO, the latest humanoid version of the HUBO robots, can make expressive gestures with its 5 separate fingers.

Humanoid only means "human-shaped". So any robot that is shaped like a human, with a head, two arms, two legs, (C-3PO from "Star Wars", Gort from "The Day the Earth Stood Still", Marvin the Android from "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"), but not those who have other shapes (R2-D2 from "Star Wars", the Robot from "Lost in Space").
I would say a human like robot. Kinda like CP3O from Starwars
"Andys" - androids ; an great example would be the replicants in the film "Bladerunner" which was based on the book by Philip K. Dick whose original title was " Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep ? " .

there's also a class of hobby robots that meet the humanoid description. They can be great fun and challenging in fighting competitions, running, climbing, etc. These are all dificult tasks for robots. here's a couple and a link to you tube videos.
