Is the Detective Conan/Case Closed anime true to the manga?!

From what I had seen of the anime, it has done a pretty good job of following the manga, though they do have some fillers. But the manga has more details and funny parts when compared to the anime since for the anime, there are time constraints.
i always hated that anime it was far too short and even when it ended it gave no closure. So i can't tell you because i didn't bother with the manga i recommend you don't either.
