Anime fans, what's the deal with cartoons? plz tell me....?!
Question: I decided to give cartoons one more chance but what i saw the past week, EVERYTHING SUCKS
i saw 3 episodes of the following
Teen Titans
Spongebob Squarepants
Transformers: Animated
Ed, Edd 'n Eddy
Rugrats
Wild Thornberrys
DAMN! THEY ALL SUCK!! no wonder Anime's the big thing.
why do all cartoons nowadays have to be kid friendly and cute and stupid?!

cartoons aim for lil children n yeah i know they sucks terribly!
i can't stand them at all! they look ugly!
they sucks cuz they have no plot nor any real story behind it
unlike anime, anime actually has a reason n plot n a good sotry base.
for example
(cartoons r sooo random)
spongbob- a spong living undersea...working in a fast food burger place.........n then each eps u c his wacky everyday life. end of plot
teen titans- teen super heros that save the world. everyday has some new villains n the titans kick their ***. end of story
the rest of those cartoons u named i dunno them but u get my point
now anime:
death note- shinigami drop death note into the world cuz he was bored, Light picks it up, didn't believe that it could kill those who names was written on the book, tried it, actually work....*shock*....starts to kill criminal for a better world. realize he has power with that book, wants to become the ruler of the world n pass judgement on all the criminal. police concerns bout these criminal dying by heart attack, tried to find out how did all of them died by heart attack. set to investigate on this matter n search for the killer. Light dad is an officer of quite a high ranking is also part of the investigation. L is a secret detective who is in charge of this mission but no one has ever met him or knows how he looks. so now light is challenge by L to c who will last the game n who will be the first to fall
so u c death note has many clever plot n twist n turns that makes it interessting. c how much lines i took just to describe about death note n i'm not even giving a good full description
while cartoons r lame, they have no purpose except each episode woud teach young children about good n bad
but anime has meaning n good graphic n good drawing n strong story base with great imagination n creativity n great expression n worth watching

IDK but I do know that Anime rocks and cartoons are just boring
cartoons - I don't know how old you are, but the simpsons and family guy are cartoons, too. If you get cartoon network, tune in for Adult Swim every night. They also play some anime.
Personally, I'd rather read a comicbook, manga or graphic novel.
Well, to begin with: Not all cartoons are kid friendly. Most "animes" are actually more suited toward Teens and Adults. The ones you saw are suited for kids.
If you're looking for animes more suited for older people, I recommend actual animes. Transformers and Teen Titans are classified as anime, yet they're not meant to appeal to people who have moved on. One recommendation is Outlaw Star. It's a pretty simple anime, relitively short, and great mix of drama and violence. It's a space-based anime, you know, spaceships and lasers. If that's not for you, then Samurai Shamploo might do it. It's a Samurai style show with swords and unnatural acts of inhuman strength and speed. For something a little bit more realistic, look at Love Hina. It's more or less a romantic with PLENTY of fan service for guys. I honestly can't say what has fan service for girls. But those are just a couple of suggestions. And none of the animes I just named are excactly clean for kids. Hope this helps.

Cause Cartoons are mainly for kids. Animes are for all. Cartoons like the ones your talking about are for kids. Like...10 year olds and 11 year olds(Count me out). Me? I like the teen animes, like Inu Yasha and Bleach. But I like Sailor moon too. And it's cute and kid friendly, but I like it anyway!!
They cancelling the good ones and keeping the bad ones. Cartoons now are aiming more at a teen to adult audience.
The Simpsons & Family Guy are getting more popular now. Some cartoons on now like Chowder and El Tigre are aimed at kids of all ages. The only kid friendly cartoon that should be saved and make new episodes will be All Grown Up! because it gets good ratings and it's aimed more at a kid audience.
Those are kids cartoon!!!! No wonder you didn’t like them. What do you expect? Kid cartoon should be kids friendly...
