Why couldn't Transformers pull off a Captain Tsubasa or Digimon?!
Question: when the original Captain Tsubasa series were made, they were a bit kid friendly
but in the remakes they updated the animation, drawings and added more violence to be more suitable for older Tsubasa and Football fans, same goes for Digimon when they made Digimon Savers
But for Transformers America screwed up everything! The Unicron Trilogy was doing it's Job but the new American trash (TF Animated) sucks so much!

What the hell is this new animated TF ?? What did they do to my beloved optimus prime ?? I can't believe they could hack and destroy a classic cartoon which I happen to have on DVD and also the animated movie because I couldn't pass up the opportunity to kind of relive my childhood, ahh fond memories I remember being so scared of soundwave and running away from the t.v. lol I was only about 6 so what do you expect. And in the movie someone actually swears I can't remember if it was bumble bee or someone else I haven't watch it like in 6 months been busy with other things. I also hated the TF movie it was so nothing like the cartoon which really dissapointed me.
I'm sorry that you don't like Transformers Animated, but frankly, the Unicron Trilogy wasn't "doing its job". The ratings for the three shows were not very good, which is why Cartoon Network kept moving them to bizarre timeslots. They were not getting kids interested in the Transformers characters. And from what I saw, there was nothing in them that was geared towards older fans. I found them repetitive and pretty devoid of characterization. There is plenty of anime out there that is actually geared towards an older audience if that's what you enjoy. And both the live action movie and the current comics are aimed at older readers. But if Transformers is going to still be around in ten years, kids need to keep getting into it and that just wasn't happening with the Unicron trilogy.
