The grim adventures of Billy and Mandy....?!
Question: My son is 10 and he watches this cartoon....
Now and again I watch a little of it and cant help thinking that this sort of material is not really suitable for young children....
The way the characters talk and behave is most desturbing I feel....
Does anyone else think this or have any views on it???
I still let him watch it but I do try to limit the amount of it that he is exposed to....

I love the show, but i agree that maybe very young children shouldnt watch it. It has a lot of things in it that younger kids just wouldnt understand, and I can easily see how it appeals to older kids aswell. I personally think it should be on adult swim, but w/eva if the network thinks its suitable to put on in the middle of the day, it cant be that bad can it? Dont worry about it. Censors on kids TV are very serious about what kids are exposed to... I should know, they keep moving my fav. cartoons around to different time slots ^__^
my son is 11 and watches it all the time Ive not really watched it myself
its not too bad, so long as he knows that its not real...
Its just marketed at kids so they think things like getting stuck in a washing machine will make them laugh
i LOVE that show!!! its true some jokes are meant for an older audience but young ppl don't understand that!! just stop bein so protective! kids his age watch that show all the time! dw!! :)
there's nothing wrong with that show it's just an innocent kids program.
I definitely think that the concept and the whole premise of the show is more suited to pre-teens, teenagers, and even adults. There are some dated references in the cartoon that a child wouldn't even understand.
I personally LOVE the cartoon and I think it is very humorous. The Actress who plays the voice of Mandy, Grey Delisle, is absolutely gorgeous. However, I do agree with you that very young children shouldn't watch it. At times I feel that T.G.A.O.B.A.M. is more suited to cartoon networks "adult swim."
