I really found cloud as my favorite after I saw the movie. It was full of so much action!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!

Tifa! Omg she's my favorite =D I did really love Rikku though. Like really love.
Tifa is just like the genuine kind of girl who will kick your butt, and Rikku was just adorable beyond belief. She reminds me of a friend of mine. :)

cloud because he was courageous and fought for what he believed in
Locke (FF VI) is my all time favorite Final Fantasy character.
I like Tifa also (and not because of those two reasons you might be thinking about).
When I saw AC for the first time, three characters really stood out for me. In order of <3, they were Loz, Sephiroth, and Kadaj. But then, a FF obsessed friend of mine got me into Sephiroth/Vincent and my parents bought me Dirge of Cerberus (I asked for FFVII... Ah well, close enough) and now, in my mind, Vincent pwns all.
And I've never played any of the other games...
While Cloud is my favorite I always thought Vincent was kind of cool as well.
