After being assigned to watch a movie about Princess Gale, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura discover someone who looks exactly like Princess Gale being pursued by some shady-looking fellows. The group saves her, only to find out from Kakashi that they were hired by the guys they just defeated. Turns out the girl is an actress named Yukie who plays Princess Gale and her next movie takes place in the Land of Snow. Yukie hates acting, but is really good at it. When they all arrive in the Land of Snow, the group discovers that Yukie is really the long-lost princess who ran away many years ago. She holds the key to an ancient treasure, and is the target of a group of ninja. When an old enemy from the past comes back to haunt Kakashi, the group must do everything they can to protect Yukie. But for what reasons did she run away to begin with? Will spring ever come to the Land of Snow?

When the three become separated, Naruto and Temujin fight, only to end up falling off a cliff. When Shikamaru discovers a strange moving fortress, he decides to investigate on his own. Just what lies inside the mysterious fortress? What happened to Naruto and Temujin? And how is the Hidden Sand Village involved in all of this?

However, when the group finally arrives at the Moon Country, they discover that one of the nobles, Shabadaba, has taken over the country and hired three powerful ninja assassins to dispose of Michiru and Hikaru. Now the four ninja must fight against an entire army and three ninja assassins to protect the two heirs to the throne, and with the help of the circus, put a stop to Shabadaba's evil plans!

Naruto: Shippūden the Movie (劇場版ＮＡＲＵＴＯ?ナルト? 疾風伝, Gekijōban Naruto Shippūden?) is a 2007 film directed by Hajime Kamegaki and written by Junki Takegami. It is the fourth film based on the Naruto manga and the first of the Naruto: Shippūden anime series. It was announced on November 22, 2006, in that week's issue of Shonen Jump. The movie was released in theaters on August 4, 2007. Pre-sale tickets had been available since April 21, 2007. The movie will be released on DVD in Japan on April 23, 2008.
Plot summary
Demons that once almost destroyed the world have been revived by someone. To prevent the world from being destroyed, Naruto is to guard Shion, but she predicts Naruto's death. The only way to escape it is to get away from Shion, which would leave her unguarded, then the demons, whose only goal is to kill Shion will do so, thus meaning the end of the world. Naruto decides to challenge this "prediction of death", and not leave Shion.

Naruto: Shippūden the Movie 2 (劇場版ＮＡＲＵＴＯ?ナルト? 疾風伝:08, Gekijōban NARUTO Shippūden 08?) is the fifth overall Naruto film and second Naruto: Shippūden film based on the popular anime and manga series scheduled for release in Summer 2008. The movie was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump along with the DVD release date for the first movie. Additionally, the teaser trailer for the second movie was aired with Naruto: Shippūden episode(s) 40-41. Tagline for movie is "Friend or Foe? Sasuke appears in Shippūden Movie".
