Death note fans... (in america) do you think that the last episode of Death Note!

I think that the episode was kind of short and I think its sad that Misa had to give up her Death Note (not sure if this means she lost her eyes too) but it was an important part of the story and I hope that some one saves Misa.
I personally think that there could have been more to the demise of Light. Sure the last episode was good but it wasn't the greatest. It would have been better if we had either seen Light in the nothingness that is described in the manga or it would have been better if Light were to become a Shinigami like Ryuk.
It was good, but rushed, I think Light should have won or something. It was interesting on how Ryuuk killed light though. I found it sad in a way. Light should have won! The series should at least carry on.
i thought it was very good the only thing i didn't like about the episode was that it had misa in it.I'm sorry if i offended you but i don't really like misa i think she is really annoying.again sorry if i offended you
i liked Light..... even though that probably sounds weird. i watch it in japanese also so, i don't know if my opinion exactly counts. but i too think it was rushed. i mean, it sucks.... aren't there like 37+ episodes in japanese? anyway...... i don't know. i forgot what i was saying. oh yeah.... i liked ryuk too. know i'm kinda mad at him (again i'm being weird) but, the ending was very...... dumb.

I thought it was well done. There were a couple of times where it felt to me they were telegraphing what was going to happen later in the episode, but then they did something completely different.
