Is it me or is Ghost in the Shell confusing all together.?!
Question: Well, I also get confused watching it because I think there is no solid storyline but I "sort of" realized "a little bit" of the meaning behind it as you watch all the episodes...
But over-all, it is INDEED confusing...^_^

Ghost in the shell really confusing. i don't even know what on earth the story is about..
Not really, you need some patience with it though. The simple details are sometimes crucial to the plotline. I got into it after seeing Innocence on Animax and I was instantly hooked. Even caught the rerun the next day and cleared up some of the murkier parts. Forgive me for making the comparison(I agree they were very different) but the outlook of it was what iRobot could've been. But alas, Hollywood makes no effort for anything serious- even a classic Asimov!
The second movie definitely is. The first movie somewhat, but not really. Stand Alone Complex doesn't spoon-feed like most anime, but it is understandable without much work.
I just finished watching the second movie again and i still can't figure it out. ??????????
Some people have trouble understanding the complex storyline. GITS is not the usual anime where the plot is simplistic and does not take much thought process to comprehend.
