The fillers start at episode 136 and go to 220. Here is my answer.
142 - 147 Mizuki Strikes Back arc
- This arc isn't important at all, just shows how Iruka begins to realize that Naruto is actually getting stronger [Rasengan].
148 - 151 Bikochuu arc
- Again not really that important. Hinata, Shino, Kiba and Naruto go looking for a bug that tracks the first scent it smells, so they want to send it after Sasuke. They fight an enemy and defeat them [this shows Hinata's growth because she founded her own technique] and still in the end the hunt was useless, because when they found the Bikochuu, Naruto farted and that was the scent it would always follow.
152 - 157 Raiga arc
- Naruto, Neji, Lee and Tenten go to help this village and there they meet a bad guy. They fight and they win - however important piece of information Raiga is part of the Hidden Mist Village's Seven Shinobi Swordsmans [but he dies...]
158 Survival Plan arc
- Useless...
159 - 160 Bountry Hunter arc
- Useless
161 Green Beasts arc
- Stupid but so funny!
162 - 167 Land of Birds arc
- Shows us that Naruto is afraid of ghosts... Not important but a cool arc.
168 Burning Pot arc
- Haha, hilarious - how to make RAMEN!
169 - 173 Land of Sea arc
- This is kind of important in a way. It shows what Orochimaru did and Anko's experience with him. Plus it shows Orochimaru's illegal experiments and a little clip of Sasuke in the shadow's is shown. Oo, and Naruto summons Gambunta here.
174 Money Element vs. True Element arc
- Dumb episode... useless
175 - 176 Treasure Hunt arc
- Pointless...
177 Hotspring Village arc
- Funny but lame at the same time =]
178 - 183 Hidden Star Village arc
- Pretty cool arc, especially the new kind of chakra. But it gets really boring at some part. But the song in it is very addicting.
184 Kiba's Long Day arc
- Akamaru gets infected and he becomes a rabid dog and dangerous enough that Tsunade wanted to put down, but Kiba refused. Shows the bond between Kiba and Akamaru.
185 Legendary Onbaa arc
- Very funny =]
186 Laughing Shino arc
- Funny in a weird way...
187 - 191 Konoha Moving Center arc
- Not very important but some interesting jutsu's introduced in this arc.
192 Chubby Paradise arc
- Hilarious [Naruto and Ino!]
193 Lee's Dojo arc
- Haha, pretty funny. It's a mix up between characters =]
194 The Cursed Haunted Castle arc
- Naruto's afraid of ghosts.... pretty useless episode...
195 - 196 The Third Great Beast arc
- Pretty intense fighting happening with Gai and Lee...
197 - 201 Konoha 11 arc
- Very stratigical arc. It makes you think alot and all the Konoha genin plus Shikamaru are working together. This ones good, you should watch it.
202 Best 5 Battles special
- This is a special that shows the top 5 battles so far. It's kind of like a talkshow, plus they show Orochimaru and Sasuke. Watch this one!
203 - 207 Kurama Clan arc
- Shows us Kurenai-sensei's past. This arc has a lot of Genjutsu fighting, it's pretty cool to watch.
208 Kacho Fugetsu arc
- Most pointless arc ever!
209 - 212 Shinobazu arc
- I liked this arc. Although it really wasn't important, it was just very interesting to watch. Warning though - there were way too many flashbacks...
213 - 215 Menma arc
- This arc was very touching. Once again not important, but it was really nice to watch.
216 - 220 Shitenshonin arc
- This arc is definately important. It shows how much Gaara has grown and changed in the past couple of months. Plus it's the arc where everyone shows off their jutsu's one last time and this is the arc where Naruto sets off to train with Jiraiya-sama. If you don't want to watch any other arc -- this is a MUST-SEE arc.
You should watch all of them.
Well one of the important fillers to watch is Anko's past. It takes place between episodes 169-173.

148 Super Pursuit Power Even Akamaru Is Jealous Of! Seek The Mysterious Bikouchuu:
Naruto is unable to search for Sasuke due to Tsunade's orders, while Kiba and Hinata wonder how they can help him out. Shino remembers a special type of bug that if it is found, could easily track Sasuke down. they go and discuss it with Tsunade, who agrees to let them search for it, making Shino the leader. Tsunade discovers Naruto eavesfropping the conversation and lets him go with them, but can they complete a mission with only a 10% success rate? Also, they're not alone! A mysterious group is also after the same thing.
149 How are they different? Don't all bugs look the same?:
The group struggles to find a Bikouchuu, but seems to fail at every turn. Naruto messes up a few times, nearly getting them eaten by a giant Bikouchuumo bug in the process, while the group continued to be watched. However, when it starts raining, they only have one more chance to find it. Thanks to Hinata's Byakugan, they succeed in finding one. Their celebrations are short lived though, when Hinata is kidnapped. Now they must decide on whether or not trade the Bikouchuu for Hinata.
150 Deceive, Confuse, and be Deceived. The Grand Bug Battle:
With Hinata's safety in danger, the group must try and figure out a way to save Hinata, and protect the Bikouchuu at the same time. Every time one side seems to have an edge though, the other reveals yet a new trick. As dawn approaches, they don't have long to do either. In the end, naruto, Kiba, and Shino fall into a trap. Can they escape? And, can Hinata save herself from her current situation?
151 Blazing Byakugan! This is my way of the ninja!:
With the group trapped, Shino makes a deal to trade the Bikouchuu for Hinata. Unfortunately for the opponents, Hinata got away, making the deal worthless. They decide to kill Naruto, Shino, and Kiba instead, but back off when they see Kyubi's eyes. They begin to attack again, but Hinata steps in to save the day. Now it's Hinata's turn to shine, and show off her new technique. But, will it be enough?

161 Meeting the Strang Visitor, Green Beast? Wild Beast?...Animal?:
As Gai and Lee leave Konoha for a mission, two strangers disguise themselves as Gai and Lee and sneak into the village to learn its secrets. No one is fooled by their disguise though, well except for Naruto who wants to train with them. Tsunade, Sakura, and Tenten have big plans in store for these imposters, plans that'll make their lives miserable.
168 Burn Zundou! Mix, Stretch, Boil!:
Mr. Ichiraku, the owner of the Ichiraku Ramen shop, is in trouble. His daughter Ayame was kidnapped and he only has two ways to get her back: hand over his Legendary Ramen recipe or win a cooking contest by creating a whole new ramen dish. After learning of his plight, Naruto, Chouji and Sakura choose to help Mr. Ichiraku win the contest and get his daughter back. Can the three ninjas with little cooking experience help Mr. Ichiraku win the contest or will he have to hand over his Legendary Ramen recipe?

177 OH?! Please, Mister Postman:
Naruto accidentally meets up with Jiraiya while in another area, and demands that he trains him. Jiraiya refuses though, as he has to finish the script for his next volume of his series. Anxiously wanting to train, Naruto writes it for him and mails it off. Knowing his reputation is at stake, Jiraiya makes Naruto accompany him on a mission to get it back. However, the Courier Ninja, a type of ninja postman, won't let their missions be stopped so easily. Even worse, turns out Naruto mixed up his delivery with an important message to the Fang Country, and if they don't fix this mess, war will break out!
186 Laughing Shino:
Naruto and Shino go on a mission together to Motoyoshi Village where a man named Fuuta has a strange request. When his father died he put in his will that at his funeral, if Fuuta were to laugh, the inheritance money would be split amoung the family. The relatives would be willing to do anything to make him laugh so he asks Konoha to put in a replacement for him. Shino was perfect for the job but the food was drugged with laughing potion and he started cracking up. So, now Naruto must sit through the entire funeral without laughing at all.
192 Ino Screams! Big-Boned ? Paradise:
When the daughter of a Feudal Lord calls for a double Ino is brought in to take her place. The only problem is they look nothing alike, the princess has become big boned because she had a lot of stress and ate a lot. Now Ino must stand in for her and arrange a marriage with a man from Udon Country. Can Ino arrange the marriage without problem?
193 Viva, Training Group Challenge:
When Naruto gets back from a mission he finds out that Lee has set up a dojo. After being attacked by Lee, Naruto runs away. He then meets up with Gai who asks Naruto about the dojo. Gai is proud of Lee but finds out that no one has come to challenge Lee. So, Gai decides to challenge Lee while in a disguise. Right as he is about to go challenge Lee he is called to go and help Shikamaru, Chouji, and Ino. A ninja then copies Gai's form and acts as Gai. Naruto thinking it is Gai takes him to challenge Lee. What are the plans of this ninja and will Lee be able to defeat him?
and some other's,there really are a lot of good episodes to watch,it would just take to long to list them,thats why its better to watch all of the fillers,if you want you really don't need to watch them now,and go onto Shippuden and watch that. That way when you waiting for a new episode to come out you cold watch the fillers or you can watch them anytime you watch. Although I would would watch all of them,they are all good.

well there's one where he opens his own dojo (that one was really funny)
another one was when gai and lee left for a mission and there were imposters that didn't even look like them. the whole village knew that ther were fakes expect naruto so he asks to train with them. it's really funny.
there's also really close NARUHINA episodes
like the episodes where thye go find the scent bug
naruto sees hinata dancing naked by the waterfall but doesn't even reconigze her... at the end when the found the scent bug naruto farted and now the scent bugs goes on his butt
i like the last few 30 episodes. the last 7 episodes dedicates some GAARA time. the ones with the yura yura opening. they're really good because includes all the basic characters except for sasuke
there's a filler episode when you see shino laugh and actually pull a prank.... that's surprising
but yeah i highly suggests watching the fillers if you're a true naruto fan....

the rest are all stupid. (sadly... )
but Garra and his team are in the last few filler episodes.

Naruto doesn't have good filler episodes, 80% of them are complete crap, you could spend your time doing something worth your time or watching something much more interesting

Bikochu arc (148-151) -i
interesting, searching for special bugz that could help find sasuke, ending is very unexpected indeed xD
Raiga (or Curry of life) arc (152-157) -lots of fun with lee and curry
Green beasts arc (161) -must see, u will lol
Burning pot arc (168) -quit interesting, ramen making n stuff
Land of sea arc (Anko's past n stuff) (169-173) -didn't liked it, but everyone brags about it as necessary filler, but dunno..
Money Element vs. True Element arc(174) -fun with some spoiled kid
Hotspring Village arc (177) -fun with jiraya and his icha ihca paradise
Kiba's Long Day arc(184) -about akamaru getting poisoned
=[ but interesting
The Legendary Onbaa arc(185) -cute plus some fun
Laughing Shino arc(186) -must see!! it's so fun! loved it
