Could Inuyasha possibly come out with more episodes this year?!
Question: I heard that the reason the Anime series was stopped becuase it had caught up with the Manga. So I want to know is it a possibility that more episodes could be made after the Manga is complete? has there been any word from viz?

The anime of Inuyasha is done. They won't make anymore episodes, but there is going to be an Inuyasha movie 5. This is according to my anime magazine Otaku USA in the December issue in the letters section is you want to check it out. It's not a rumor. :) A lot of animes stop and the manga will continue for some reason. The movie is said to complete everything though. Hope I helped some. :)
well, the anime they just stopped making it, and it ended terribly, its been a while since new ones have come out, so i think no. years have passed since the last ones were created so i dont think they'll bother restarting it all up again.

Its Done. (thank god Horrible repetitive story line) There will be no more episodes.
Actually, the anime is extremely finished while the manga is still being written. The manga ending will not inspire people to revisit the anime.
There is another movie coming out, but I doubt there's going to be any serious resolution...
If you're that eager for more Inuyasha (you masochist), just read the manga.
Viz has no saying if any new episodes will be made. It is sunrise who has the ultimate saying. IMO, japan is hard to predict in what it likes, maybe in the future they will decide to start where they left off with an increase of interest. When the anime ended, there were statements that the producers wanted to continue the series as an OVA, but it has been over 4 years since it ended and it seems those statements are now rumors. Look at the Saint Seiya series, producers decided to animate the Hades arc after the series ended 10 years ago.
It would be extremely wonderful if Sunrise would make more episodes or even at least an OVA, but unfortunately, that won't likely happen. It seems that Sunrise has definately moved on to other projects. Viz holds the licensing rights in North America for the series and they really do not have any real say so in terms of the animation series. Sunrise is the company that handles the animation.
