What are the most shocking anime you′ve ever seen?!

Neon Genesis Evangelion (Can't even begin with this one!)
Elfen Lied (So sad and shocking)
Serial Experiments Lain (So real)
Bleach (Ichigo goes through alot of crap)
Naruto ( I really felt bad for some of the characters)
Perfect Blue
Monster (So scary but so real)

1. Higurashi no naku koro ni- I never would have thought an anime could scare me until I saw this one. Never watch this at night!
2. Elfen Lied- it was horribly sad and yet absoluetly brilliant. I remember crying at the end, definitley shocking.
