Why are the Naruto chapters so short?!
Question: I read 388 on onemanga last night and it was 17 pages long they just seem to be getting shorter and shorter

Mangaka usually make 20 pages a week...but the Naruto chapters are probably short because it's supposed to end on a cliffhanger then and they don't want anything too big to be given away before the next chapter, so more people definately have to read it next time =) I think...
gah! cliffhangers kill me! >.<
Ya I know what you mean. I think what it is that is that people get so excited and anticipate seeing the new chapter and the read it and before you know it is over.

its not like its easy for masashi kishimoto to think if a story, add dialog, and draw it ever week. seventeen pages of about five drawings is actually a lot. i couldn't imagine doing that every single week, could you? and the awesomeness makes it feel short. it actually isn't.

40 - 50 pages ?:O omg i never read a manga with so much page i have read Flame of Recca , Air Gear ect and the max pages was 18-28.... i am used to short chapters
Yea you are tottaly correct!
But you know why? Because in the episode the music and everything are added! And they zoom in and out and make it slow but manga your just reading fast.
