Music-Themed Anime?!

Question: I'm not going to be as strict with this question.
Can someone give me a list of music-themed anime such as La Corda d'Oro?
Preferably CLASSICAL music.
Thanks!

<> Nodame Cantabile::: 26 episodes <>
The studious and uptight Chiaki is well-known as the top pianist of his school, and dreams of becoming a world-class conductor like his idol, Viera; but his fear of flying (which makes studying abroad impossible) combined with a recent break-up and dismissal from his piano instructor causes that future to seem both bleak and unlikely. After collapsing outside of his apartment, drunk, Chiaki inadvertently meets a young woman named Nodame who, while quite talented at the piano, is unclean, clumsy, and haphazard. Despite being almost polar opposites, the two begin to grow closer and work, together, to overcome the obstacles in their careers.

While La Corda d'Oro is about the violin, Nodame Cantabile is about the piano. Both anime focus on the struggles and acheivements. And their about classical music.

Hmm... there is also:
<> Violinist of Hameln::: 25 episodes <>
<> Gauche the Cellist::: Movie <>

Those two are pretty old anime though.

Umm... other animes that are musical [not classical]:
<> Aquarian Age::: 13 episodes <>
<> Beck::: 26 episodes <>
<> Black Heaven::: 13 episodes [OVA] <>
<> Gravitation::: 13 episodes + 1 [OVA] <>
<> Lemon Angel Project::: 13 episodes <>
<> Lovely Idol::: 12 episodes <>
<> Kaikan Phrase::: 44 episodes <>
<> Nana::: 47 episodes <>

Gravitation is shounen-ai.... if that's okay...
There are also some anime that focus on singing, which means naturally there would be music.

I hope that helps ^^

Beck?

Classical? I'm not sure then. I also havent seen Beck

You might try "Spiral". One of the lead characters is a concert pianist and classical music is frequently heard as back ground music. Two pieces from Fraz Liszt is heard as well as Claude DeBussey. Primarially it is used for Eyes Rutherford and he does not appear until the third episode. And the DeBussey piece is used primarily in the final episode but parts of it are used throughout the series.

Hope this does the trick.

A little snow fairy sugar

Beck...
Wait.. But it's not classical.
You could watch Nodame Cantabille (spell check)
