Question: Can anyone answer my questions about the end of gantz and i have already watched all the way thorugh the series.

1. Basically, Gantz was playing with him. I guess he saw him as a "threat" or something and wanted to eliminate him. In the end of the anime it's basically a cliffhanger. Did he die, did he live? That's really up to you to decide (unless you read the manga.)
-- now, in the manga (which is the "Real" story) Kei lives for a long time afterwards... but dies much later on by vampires.

2. Gantz.... I'm not sure what exactly gantz is. All i know that it is a dude in a black ball that gathers up those who had died to fight aliens... and that he's a real bastard. gantz could have been created by some govt' facility or lab... or he could have come from some unknown planet.... i am really not sure ^^
3. The end.... OK. Well, everyones dead except Kei...so of course new dead ppl come. Gantz was probably pissed at kei for trying to shoot him in the prev. ep. that and he probably felt that he would only be a nuisance... so he tried to get rid of him... hence the "kei is the alien" game. well, you know what happens. people die, etc... and then kei tries to pull this whole "spike from cowboy bebop" stunt with his "im gonna live"... and that really doesnt work. when kei was supposed to return.... gantz kept him in that little "virtual type place" and he [most likely] killed him in the same place that he originally died at.
the people who did the anime created that ending because gantz (the series) so soo long!! it would have been another bleach and naruto series~ endless.
if you really want to know how the series REALLY ends... definitely read the manga ^^

All I can do is point you towards the manga. The Gantz anime is another one of those shows that never should have been made. The first half of the anime was faithful to the comic but the second half just deviated so far & didn't make sense at all.
Just read the Gantz manga, and you'll understand why it's one of the top 10 Action / Seinen manga out there.
