Would anyone agree that The Boondocks is the first great american anime?!
Question: The mind of Aaron McGruder is incredible. The show touches on American social issues while delivering with an unnerving shock value, not dissimilar to South Park. The animation and comedic style borrow from that of Japanese anime, and the animation and fighting style is heavily influenced by Samurai Champloo. I think this is one of the first great American-made animes, and I hope there are more to come. Thoughts?

That show is amazing. I'm not totally sure what defines an American anime, but it's one of the greatest American cartoons
I've read most of the Boondocks comics. They're far more brutal than the series.
I'm not sure people here appreciate it here though. Most people here seem bias against anything American.

I haven't seen any other ones, but it's pretty good. Funnier and more sane than a lot of anime.
