In Chobits, why aren't Persocoms just called robots?!
Question: In the final book, the creator of Persocoms reveals that he didn't want Persocoms to be called robots because he didn't want Persocoms to be controlled by the 3 Laws of Robotics.
A blatant rip off of Issac Asimov.

Cause they aren't really robots.
They can feel emotions like humans, which a robot can't
No, persocoms do not have feelings, chobits do. (that's almost the purpose of the story, to see the different between a chobits and persocom) Persocoms are like robots. but i guess they look more better lol
Persocom = Personal Computer
And that's what they are ... 'nuff said.
Doesn't calling them robots eliminate the personal touch?
