The original Transformers 80's movie was WAY better than that god awful piece of cinematic fecal matter that recently came out.
I wanted to see robots and instead got ripped off watching some crappy movie about Shia LeBouf and some soldiers running around shooting shite.
The 80's version had more robots and more action.
Megatron who was turned into Galvatron by Unicron were my fave.

That's just as insulting as how they changed Phoenix in X3. Phoenix is supposed to be this ultra powerful fiery bird creature that eats planets. Instead we got this pale face biotch with a bad attitude.
Ditto for those god-awful Fantastic Four movies. Why was it necessary to turn Dr. Doom into Magneto? Dr. Doom is NOT supposed to have any powers. He's just really smart with a suit of armor. Kinda like DC's version of Lex Luthor.
Using Briza's stupid logic changing established characters just to appeal to a wider audience doesn't pan out.
Lord of the Rings was kept mostly intact so the fans weren't pissed off AND it still managed to reached a wide audience.

good old series, although later series like the Unicron Trilogy were good and RiD, but the new series TF: Animated is a HUGE insult to the fanbase and the movie was really disrespectful to the original, B-grade actors, Megan Fox or any girl playing the love interest shouldn't be there cuz thee is NO LOVE STORY in Transformers, and if there is they should keep it discreet. they made it so that damn US army can fight the robots when they couldn't win Vietnam, the whole point of Transformers is that humans CANNOT fight them! All the autobots were crappy GMC cars when in the series they were mixed brands.

Soundwave was always my favourite - he had the coolest voice and carried around all his cassetes. Ravage was his best tape.
I liked the movie - you just had to accept it for what it was. Its not like everyone these days wants to see a VW (bumblebee) or family van (Ironhide) style robot. They had to appeal to all ages not just us.
I always liked Bumblebee myself and I loved the original Transformers movie from the 1980's. I thought Arcee was a nice addition and never really saw the reason to even see the newest movie. Somethings just should not be live-action.
man its so hard to choose, even the decepticons were funnier and had more interesting personalities then the auto bots but for me:

Decepticons: Sound wave, Starscream (god he was so funny talking trash to megatron), astro train
