I see that you have a good taste for anime. Well, you like shounen, so I would suggest you Fullmetal Alchemist, Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin, and maybe Bleach. They all have action and a good story. And, if sometime you want to watch a more "girly" anime, watch "Rozen Maiden". If you want to know more about these, let me know ;)

From what I've personally read though, I'd recommend checking out Hana Yori Dango, Hana Zakari no Kimi tachi e and MARS. They're all really good, high school romance mangas.
