I've watched more anime than is healthy, and I'd have to say that the absolute best one I've ever seen is Wolf's Rain. I fell in love with the series from the first time I saw it and have been a die hard fan ever since. It had one of the most interesting and original plots I've ever seen from an anime, and it also has a little something for everyone. Other good ones I've seen are Kikader, Furi Kuri/Fooly Cooly/FLCL, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, and Inuyasha.

Ghost in the Shell , this is the anime that has fascinated me for some time . It's philosophical themes about what it means to be human is intriguing .
