Will Naruto Shippuuden be catching up to the preview we saw in episode 1 soon?!
Question: Naruto Shippuuden episode 1 showed us a preview of when Naruto and Sakura found Sauske. It's been awhile, so I watched it again. They were at Orochimaru's lair and Sai was there.
I'm wondering why Yamato wasn't there though. Do you think something happens to him? Was he busy fighting Orochimaru when Naruto and Sakura were looking for Sauske?
How many episodes do you think it'll be until the show catches up to that preview?

Yes. Soon the episode will catch up to the scene you saw in the first episode. Right now Naruto Shippuden is on episode 47,and they are getting close to Orochimaru's base. Later on the face Sasuke after not seeing him for the past 2 1/2 years. Not to spoil anything for you,but Yamato was,and no nothing happened th him,he is fine. I would tell you more,but I don't want to spoil to much for you. I guessing its going to take another 2-3 episodes until they come up to that pat,because from the manga there are still more scenes to go through,and the anime tends to make the scenes last longer.

now they go to the base i think it will be like more 3-4 eps.
yer it should be really soon there in the base now. but the shippuuden episodes are painfully slow to get going so i cant say how long it will be i guessing around 5-10 episodes tho
I think it'll probably be 2-3 episodes! Hopefully! I can't wait to see that part! XD
Yeah. This week's episode... aren't they nearing there already... so I'm guessing... two or three more episodes... :] Not a lot happens before they meet Sasuke. At the most, four.
