Answers: is manga an anime comic book and the original Naruto is the manga? so when people say filler episodes like 135-220, then that's not the manga?

Yup, episodes 135 - 220 aren't in the manga.

The filler episodes were put in place to keep the anime from catching up to the manga. The manga has to be ahead of the anime, and the only way to do that is place episodes in between.

The filler episodes are exactly that -- filler -- they just fill the empty space. The episodes make no difference to the plot whatsoever. It doens't matter much if you didn't watch them.

no these are not in the manga ...these were in simplest way put...to keep the manga ahead of the anime

Huh?
The Manga is more often than not, the original version, before it becomes animated, when it becomes animated, it's called the Anime.
EPISODES, are part of a SHOW, a SHOW can be ANIMATED, so the EPISODES are part of the ANIME.
If they were talking about the MANGA, they probably would've said the FILLER CHAPTER or something along the lines.
And the fillers have nothing to do with the original plot at all. Filler episodes are just there so the anime doesn't completely catch up with the original, the manga, which is the source of where they get the episodes from.

No,the fillers have nothing to do with the manga,it is not part of the original story. The fillers are just meant to be shown so that the anime doesn't get to caught up to the manga, and so that the fillers keep the anime going.

Naruto Rocks!!!!!

the fillers are like just there to keep the show running
the manga is the comic but it's way ahead and the show hasn't caught up yet

hope that helped.

NARUTO ROCKS!

The manga is the comic book. The issues are printed periodically.
The anime is based on the manga. Someines the anime catches up to the story in the manga and they create filler episodes to fill the time until the manga continues it's story far enogh ahead that the anime can continue the story in the manga.

Mangas are the actual Japanese comics. Anime are the shows that aire on television, and depending on where you live or what you prefer, they can either be subbed (meaning they have English subtitles) or dubbed (which is when they are aired in the U.S. and are spoken in English). When you hear the term "filler"..it simply refers to one or more episodes that really don't contribute to the general plotline of the show. They are there simply to take up your time...they usually don't have very good plots and just help the schedule of the show flow better. They're annoying . Stay away from them.
