Well unfortunately that is what is said. It is said that Naruto will end with 500 chapters. Although it is still possible that it could keep going on. Honestly I hope it doesn't. Narut will become Hokage though.
Naruto will become Hokage. Well actually I wrote out a whole scenario of how think Naruto will end although it would take me too long to type,but to keep it simple. I think that Naruto will either kill Sasuke or bring him back to the village. The Akatsuki will fall/all die. There will be one finale battle between Naruto and Madara,then Naruto wins and he will become Hokage with Hinata at his side,and they will get married.

I hope there's a sequel, it'll be sad when it ends. I think Naruto will be hokage and he'll be married to Hinata. Sasuke returns back to the village and SakuSasu happens along with NejiTen.
im guessing that naruto and sasuke will fight again.then naruto dies and sasuke gains alot of power to kill itachi(if he hasent)then sakura and them will live there lives.
to me,i think all of the kids that are konohamarus age will be the main characters when naruto dies.sasuke will be like orochimaru,either kakashi os sakura will be the hokage.lee will be a great sensi and fighter.tenten and neji might get married.they will put up a statue of naruto Uzamaki to remember him.akatsuki will be defeated by sasuke.and problably kabuto will be a servent of sasuke.sasuke will try to defeat konaha.konohamaru will gain power to defeat sasuke..or thats the end of naruto and shippuden when naruto dies.oh yeah i for got about sakura.she will try to stop sasuke from being like orochimaru
