In total Ernie the Chicken has appeared on 4 shows. The first is called DaBoom, the second is called Blind Ambition, the third is No Chris Left Behind and the last one is in Meet The Quagmires, but they didn't actually fight in the last one, you just see how it all starts. Hope this helps you :)

There are three scenes where he actually fights the chicken. Then there is the scene from the past, at prom, where he accidentally elbows the chicken and starts the feud.
I can only remember three too, but I know the chicken starred in Family Guy more than 3 times
i only saw it once but i think theirs three!
As far as I know there are only 2 fights.

3. Peter wastlking about Chris with Lois.
