He's not funny.
Yell and Flail about random things. Get mad at things that don't really matter. People will laugh.
Just steal bits off of old dead comics like he does.
Be really loud and obnoxious. Also use excessive body language. And say "punch in the face" alot lol.
I certainly enjoy his movies but have heard from people that he is heavily criticised as a stand up comedian because he takes bits of other peoples jokes and says them to make people laugh which is no good.
Secondly you dont become funny by admiring someone rather its a quality one has which opens up when you are more social and have lots of conversations with others!
All you have to do is tell a "knock knock"joke.
