Whic do you think is better, DC or Marvel Comics?!
Question: I've heard both sides of the argument and I personally like DC better. 1. I work for them(in a way), and 2. Their stories are alot better.

everything from the teen titans to preacher is good from dc. marvel plays around too much, i.e. civil war, death of captain america. you and your JLA buddies know this in your hearts.
Sorry i like marvel comics probley because my dad grew up with there comics and now we read them together but marvel tends to make better movie and i have to say there stories and plots are generally enjoyable
I'm going with DC, although Marvel is pretty awesome too. I dunno, I just prefer the stories in the DC more.
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman: These are icons the likes of which have never been matched. Sure, Spidey and Cap are staples that everybody ends up reading at some point, but the triumvirate are the originals. Yes, I'm a Johnny DC, but that's because I've sampled what else is out there and decided what I like. The only marvelous titles I read are Ultimate Spiderman and... um... Ultimate Spiderman. If you're looking for the spandex set, go with the classics. More grown up? Looking for something a little more heady? Grab a Vertigo offshoot like Preacher or Swamp Thing. Need something that is recognized as a serious form of literature? Pick up some Sandman or Dark Knight Returns. Any other questions? No? 'Nuff said.
all my life i was marvel first dc second even though i liked the dc heroes better but marvel stories have taken such a bad turn of late deals with the devil, incest ,hero killing hero, the death of America so i switched my alliance to dc where heroes are getting killed by an ex hero but their stories have gotten more adult over the last 5 years or so
I think both companies go through periods of peaks and valley, and both are at a low point right now. For Decades Marvel was publishing more stories that were entertaining than DC was, but that turned around in the late eighties and DC was publishing more stories that were entertaining, then slipped just after the millenium, unfortunately, Marvel got even worse than it had been and both companies went into a spiral of decline.
I sincerely hope that both companies improve and soon, but I'm not expecting much improvement from either.
I buy both and up until a few years ago was a sole Marvel fan until I finally broke down and read some DC stuff now that's mainly what I buy.
While I think most of Marvel's characters are still good, the constant drama that runs from one title to another all the time can get thin. Yes, DC has massive stories too but at least DC manages to be on time with their weekly stuff.
DC's stories have a bit more depth than marvel has had recently and doesn't really shock for shock's sake.
I am a true Marvelite so I am going with Marvel.There characters live in the real world and have real problems like you and me .I always felt that I was part of the Marvel gang after reading the letters page (which Marvel introduced).I have tried to read DC but the only title I got into was Jonah Hex.Batman has all the cash and toys and Superman is almost invincible so what does he actually risk ?

In the early 90's a was a big Marvel fan, but now in the 21st century I've been enjoying the stories that DC puts out better. Marvel has too many freakin mutant books. And although i love the New Avengers comic, I will go with DC.
