Question: Please help me find this anime: the story revolves around a high school/college student who is ridiculed for being an open otaku by the classmates at his school. For example, he revels in the "aura" of his schoolmates and then makes comparisons between them and the characters he reads about. His facial expressions and animated personality give him away in public situations and cause major problems for him. I think it's a fairly popular anime series...

Hmm, besides Genshiken and NHK, Im lost to what it could be. Sounded similar to Comic Party, but that definitely isn't it.
