The Naruto Shippuuden Movie is in the Shippuuden Series it was released between the episodes 25 to 29 where if you downloaded the shippuuden episodes in Japanese you can see the trailer of it instaid of the normal begining of the Anime.
It hasn't been released though as a DvD or anything else so you probably won't find a real good quality if you try to download it so do like us wait until the Dattebayo group release it & you can see the best quality.

Neither. The Naruto movies have nothing to do with the manga or anime. It doesn't have to do with anything going on it the story/plot. The movies are just like an added adventure or mission Naruto gets to go on.

The movies are side plots, as previously stated, with nothing to do with the actual plot. The 4th Naruto movie takes place during the Shippuden episodes, somewhere in the middle, with no relevance to the story.
well if you wanted to place it, it would be during shippuden because others are in the movie and he didn't and they didn't see each other for two years so it just would not make sense if it was before whether its candid to the series or not they at least need to "fit" some where
"fit" means need to make at least a little sense
