This is a really tough battle and it will probably be rather close. Kakashi has his Mangekyou Sharingan which can send things into another dimension. Of course it's weakness is that it weakens him to much, his aim isn't perfect yet, and he needs time for it. Even beyond that though Kakashi is extremely intelligent and has excellent Jutsu.
On the other hand Might Guy is still a powerful opponent. He can open the first 6 gates, which I believe would make him more powerful than Kakashi. Then he has Morning Peacock as well as other awesome taijutsu.
Overall I think I have to go with Kakashi because of Sharingan.
Kakashi,also it doesn't matter if Gai has the drunken fist,Kakashi could read his movements with the sharingan,besides,I think the sake only really effects Lee like that. I think both are strong fighter,but I thin Kakashi is faster and stronger then Gai is.

Those two have been at it for years!!! Gai is awesome but I think Kakashi has an edge over him. Gai has defenses against the Sharingan but Kakashi is more sly.
