No contest, my friend. Ninja all the way. True, being a pirate would be cool, you know, getting all that money and stuff, but I hate traveling on water, it scares the crap outta me. I prefer to being on land, and that's exactly what a ninja does....sometimes. Go ninja-ness! >.<

Ninja were acutally messangers back then. They were to sneak into places gather information, they had to be stealthy, calm, know how to fight, and could interogate someone. They were also trained to never give out their own information that they have, no matter what kind of pain. They died for their missions. They weren't really assasins but were trained to kill if needed to.
Now Pirates.....man they were free, did what they wanted how they wanted and when they wanted. They had the most fun advemtures, gathering gold and sailing the seas. They knew how to live, even though they were kinda mean and did horrible things before, but they lived their life to the fullest.

Ninja of course, wat can pirates do get drunk and shoot a gun...Ninja's on the other hand have much more of a range of talents! Such as being able to sneak out of class, jump tree to tree, and can kick someones *** w/o the use of a gun

Neither, they both have their ups & downs.
Ninja are stealthy, have lots of spy weapons but are assasins & get treated like sticks to a fire.
If refering to "Naruto", then the ninja are cooler.
Pirates can be loyal to their comrades, but mostly cruel, rapists & murderers.
If refering to "One Piece", well that series simply rocks.
I personally prefer samurai! ^__^
Loyal, honarable, wise, skilled in swordsmanship & strong sence of tradition-to perserve the old country of Japan. They are the most powerfull in terms of swordsmanship.

Ninja. They have a lot more fighting techniques, etc. at their disposal than pirates do, and they also have great stealth skills. Ninjas could more than take on pirates any day of the week.
