Question: Twelve years before the events at the focus of the series, the nine-tailed demon fox attacked Konohagakure. It was a powerful demon indeed; a single swing of one of its nine tails would raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. It raised chaos and slaughtered many people, until the leader of the Leaf Village – the Fourth Hokage – defeated it by sacrificing his own life to seal the demon inside a newly-born child, whose origins are as yet unknown. That child's name was Naruto Uzumaki. The Fourth Hokage was celebrated as a hero for sealing the demon fox away. He wanted Naruto to be respected in a similar light by being the containment vessel for the demon fox. The village he grew up in, however, mostly shunned Naruto; they regarded him as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage made it so that the other villagers were forbidden to mention the event to anyone, even to their own children. However, this did not stop them from treating Naruto like an outcast. Although their children did not specifically know why their parents treated Naruto the way they did, they learned through example to despise the boy. As a result, Naruto grew up as an orphan in a lonesome atmosphere without friends, family, or acknowledgment.

Oh my goodness! Go too http://veoh.com and type in naruto. There are dubs and subs. It's like a freaking awesome show. Don't go to wikipedia. You'll get hooked trust me. I hated the name of it a half a year ago.
You have to watch it to understand. It's not just ninja nonsense. It's awesome drama about a crazy boy with a demon inside of him. You'll find out about each of the characters, come to love one of them or more!

Naruto is a shonen manga and anime about ninjas. It's about a ninja with a demon inside him and how he makes friend and how his dream is to become the leader of the village so people will respect him, oh, and in the first book, he doesn't even know he has the demon inside of him. The genre is all around but mostly action.

this stupid anime show that kid are obssess over.personaly i think is the lamest show ever. if you wanna take a look at it your self, go to cartoon network, i think it come around 7-8 pm.
1) I think Naruto is a city or town of some sort in Japan i am not really sure- so lets put it this way- its a place in Japan
2) its a Manga ( type of comic) that is read about a boy and his adventures as a Ninja
3) its an Anime ( like a cartoon but Japanese-though it has 100 episodes or so that are english dubbed- the charicter speak english not japanese)- the storyline is the same as the Manga and the Manga came first..
4) its a very good show and if you like Anime with fight and freidship and humar i would recomend it (watch fillers-ep135-220) you can watch it here-www.naruto-t.v.com (sorry its not a link just cop and paste)
also you should know that half of the episodes are with subtitles so you might have to get used to it..

OHEMGEE! it is about this boy named Naruto Uzumaki whom is from the Hidden Leaf Village! He uses jutsu to attack. His friends are Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, Rock Lee, and others who i acnt think of right now! The jutsu styles are genjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu and bloodline (more on that in a moment) Some ninja have certain qualities, such as cursed animal spirits. Example: Naruto has the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit. Or there are eye styles. Examples: Sasuke Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake (Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura's sensei) have the Sharingan (bringing us back to Bloodline jutsu.) There are also supreme ruler like people named Hokages. There are bad dudes, too. Such as the Sound Four, Orochimaru, Garaa and more. I have only mentioned a fraction.
